Many of our items are made directly from the fiber from our own herd and others items we have imported to meet our customer's requests. Alpaca Roving: Color Sampler Package ($5.00) refundable with first order. We have a minimum of 10 different Alpaca Roving colors to choose from. Our Roving is sold in quantities of 2, 4, 8 or 16 oz packages. Raw Fiber: We have a wide variety of raw Huacaya Fiber for sale in many colors from black to white including wonderful baby fleeces. Our Fiber can be purchased by the ounce, by 1/2 or whole blankets or the entire fleece. We also accept reservations for pre-reserved fleeces beginning Feb. 1st for our annual shearing. |
Many items for sale: Whirlwind Ranch has a wide variety of items made with Alpaca and Alpaca blends in both natural and dyed colors. We have jackets, shawls, ponchos, hoodies, blankets, throws and large assortment beautiful sweaters for both men and women. We also have several types of socks, gloves, mittens and glovittens for just about everyone and even hand woven rugs. For the kids we have Teddy bears in three sizes, toy alpacas, finger puppets, checkers, activity books and so much more!Yarns: We’ve expanded our selection of Alpaca yarns! We now have in stock over 20 different colors of 100% superfine alpaca in 1.75oz skeins (110 yards, 4/8 ply) in natural and dyed colors. We also have an every changing assortment of specialty yarns made from the fiber from our own herd. Some are 100% Alpaca and others are blended with other fibers such as Camel, Silk, Bamboo, Tensel and other unique fibers.  Our assortment of hand dyed superfine fingering weight yarns, dyed right here at the ranch, have color combinations for everyone and are sold in 200 yd. skeins. Two skeins are perfect to make yourself a pair of socks or a small triangle loom shawl, a scarf, a hat and the possibilities are endless. We now carry a huge assortment of books – knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting, dying, and many, many more. We welcome you to sit a spell and flip through them.
